Bought a fender (the black one) as I needed a passenger fender:
Has one small tear that I need to weld:
Pulled out the parts of the rotisserie to get ready to mount the body on:

Front suspension has been broken down. Had to get a coil spring compressor to remove the front coil springs. Tried to use a Jack, but without the weight of the engine, that didn’t work to well.
Next is to remove the sub-frame and rear axle and then will be ready to patch the floor pan and mount on the rotisserie.
Got the engine and trans pulled:
Mounted on my engine cart:
Took it to the rear of the garage for a rainy day:
Next is to tear down the front suspension before removing the sub-frame:
Bought some slightly used front cold springs (10 days old) from a NastyZ28 member. These are Big Block springs which are exactly what I need for the 454 I will put in. Got a good deal on them for when I rebuild the front suspension:
All that remains now is to remove the engine mounting bolts and pull the engine\trans.
Received my 781 heads for the 454:
Disconnected everything from top of car:
Removed everything from bottom – to the metal recyclers!
Need to break-down and remove the sub-frame before welding the patches in the floor as some of the holes are right above the sub-frame.
Had a little time to prep for the removal of the old engine and trans. I drained the engine and transmission oil. I also went ahead and drained the oil out of the 454 while I was at it. I was pleased to see that the transmission had a drain plug as it is my understanding they don’t have them stock and would have had to been added after market.
I am using the engine removal checklist from NastyZ28.com as a rough guide: http://www.nastyz28.com/index.php?page=camaroengineremovalchecklist
