So I found out there is a difference between a 73 RS nose vs a 70-72 RS nose. The 73 RS nose has extra mounting points for the extra bracing mandated in 1973.
Here are pics of a 70-72:

Did a little more undercoating removal on the passenger wheel well. I estimate another 1-2 hours to wrap it up before I can start cleaning it with lacquer thinner. My arms can only take so much of it at a time.
Got started on the passenger side wheel well. Felt like it went a little faster after doing the drivers side. A couple more evenings later this week and then it should be ready for me to start cleaning.
I have removed the undercoating from the drivers side wheel well – still need to go over it with some lacquer thinner. First little pass to get used to the Dremel Multi-Max – ended up using both the flexible and rigid blades to remove it. Also angled the blade as I worked on it. Notice that this didn’t touch the primer – I can still clean it before taking it to bare metal.

Getting there:
Will do the passenger side next and then more cleaning of the wheel wells and lower inner fenders.
Finished the major cleaning on the floor this weekend and started to look at what needs to be done on the wheel wells. I spent some time on the lower inside quarter panel only to determine it was mostly undercoating which I will tackle this week.
Decided to begin with the Dremel Multi-Max. I switched from the rigid to flexible scrapers – starting with the flexible and moving to the rigid where needed.

This next weeks focus will be the wheel wells and inside lower quarters. Then on to the wax and grease remover before finally stripping.
Did some more cleaning of the drivers side floor and other side of the transmission tunnel after rotating the rotisserie to the opposite side. Drivers rear seat before:
