9/27/2025 – Update
Steering linkage parts arrived. Realize it was missing the Inner Tie Rods, so ordered a pair of those below:

Got some garage time in today. The Firewall was painted with 2 different types of paint (Satin and Gloss), so I painted a small piece of metal to verify the color I had on hand (Gloss). So then I cleaned the firewall and subframe, then feathered the paint lines on the firewall and scuffed it to get ready for a respray. Still need to hit a couple spots on the subframe which I hope to work on next week, then hopefully next weekend paint the Firewall and subframe touchup, then the new suspension parts and new leaf spring perches which are EDP coated. Once those are painted, I will be set to work on all my suspension parts over the winter!
9/24/2025 – Update
I know, updates and garage time has been sparse. Need to do some work on both the blog and Camaro. In Fall winter prep mode now. The goal is to tackle the suspension this winter as I should now have all the needed parts. I need to paint the leaf spring perches before winter, so I can mount them. I recently drove to the cities to pickup a set of 5 tires to temporarily use until I get the desired wheels later. 5 wheels for $55 and gas. They hold air, so that is all that matters. Once I get the suspension together, I can mount these and move the Camaro around easier.
I also ordered the following kit. If you are not using AI yet, you should. Took a picture of my original parts, got the name and did a search and found this which should be here Friday:

4/6/2025 – Update
Went ahead and ordered the TKO 5-speed crossmember. This will allow me to go ahead and mount my front subframe without taking it apart again to mount the crossmember. The subframe is loosely attached to the body now. Still have the 12-bolt to rebuild, the suspension to work on and still waiting for the front sway bar from Hotchkis.
4/4/2025 – update
Most of my supplies have arrived. Need to unpack and store them somewhere in my full garage. I did order the mounting hardware for my front suspension kit. Should be here in time for next weekends project time in the garage.
3/31/2025 – More new supplies ordered
Stocked up on some paint and primer. Also got a good deal on this (on-sale from Eastwood.com) – a dustless block sanding kit:
3/30/2025 – New Parts on their way!
Spent some time in the garage taking inventory on stuff. Still need to order a few other things, but this is a start. Trying to focus on a few key items that have been difficult to source and\or low inventory as well as before the costs go up anymore as is forecasted.

Ordered a new set of dust shields to go along with my other front suspension parts.
Found some Trunk Spatter paint on eBay. Eastwood no longer has any and it has been difficult to find. This isn’t a spray can, but I still have a small area to touch-up on my trunk.
Also ordered a new spindle set which should work with my new Wilwood front disc brakes. Otherwise I would have to modify the existing OEM spindles. 
5/16/2024 – Hotchkis subframe connectors
Received my Hotchkis subframe connectors today. Still waiting on the shocks for the read suspension kit.
2/28/2024 – new parts
Got a new steering shaft assembly today!
12-bolt update
Ordered the last of the parts I need for the rebuild of the 12-bolt. Just need a couple of tools for the job. Debating on renting them vs buying them. Verified the parts I ordered match what I thought I needed comparing them to the original parts. Maybe start next weekend? I really need to get more garage time in, but work and other priorities have conflicted. Dusting off and revising my to-do list out there.
